The Certification Tests
Keynote Systems tested our network from 13 metropolitan areas on 3 continents, and measured 10 Windows Media streams at a frequency of 20 times per day. Over a 30-day period, ColoServe had 100% uptime on the streams and achieved a “frustration time” A+ grade. “Frustration time” is a Keynote term that refers to the time an end user spends waiting for the stream to connect and buffer before playback begins. In order to achieve an A+, the “frustration time” must be less than six seconds and there cannot be any outages.
